Bowy House ...

Bowy House is a small care home in Paarl, South Africa for infants and babies diagnosed with HIV/AIDS. Medical care, nutrition, pre-schooling, love and attention is provided 24 hours a day, ensuring the highest quality of life possible is obtained. When we started adila in July 06, we chose Bowy as our sponsored project, it was exactly what we were looking for. Local to where our products are produced and carrying out a very difficult, much needed role within the community.

 

We now feel they are more than just a name and statistics, having met Lalie who runs the home, seen where Jenny carries out the admin required, walked in the garden with the new vegetable patch and started to put faces and names to some of the children, we feel much more connected, part of the team?

 

We have only just begun our relationship with Bowy and will in the new year expand this brief page to bring you news, updates and stories of the people and life at Bowy House.
