e-news September 2006
In this issue:
Adila is two months old! and this is our first monthly e-news letter. Rather than ramble on about all that has happened during the past 8 weeks, we are going to start as we mean to go on. The adila e-news letter will always be brief, we will tell you our main news "adila accepted into BAFTS" highlight our product of the month 'the minnie' tell you of new products to be added 'new bags in the funky plastic range' and a few other events ...
Something we would like to say is this .. to all the people who worked behind the scenes at adila, those who emailed congratulations and encouragement, people who logged on and looked around, the unknown 15? year old who visited the Hitchin 'Fair Trade Fair' and commented "cool stuff" those who purchased from the first adila collection for their girlfriend, wife, mother, colleague or themselves, the people at BAFTS, and lastly the adila producers, designers & artists, THANK YOU!

adila visits producers & miqlat Oct 06 ...
At adila we have a very hands on approach. We will visit all our producers and designers in South Africa at least twice a year. Purchasing our designs directly from the community projects who created them. This is a great way, not only ensure your product was produced fairly, with a responsible attitude to the environment. It also means we know your product, we chose it, we saw it being made, we liked the people who made it and we think you would like it too. It's a personal guarantee that when we say fair trade, eco-friendly, it really is.
During Oct, Louisa Power will be visiting Miqlat (the adila sponsored project) read more giving us the opportunity to introduce you to the people behind the scenes and future projects planned.
10% profit from each original work of art by Altaf Kramer will be donated to Miqlat. To view Altaf's work click here
